An eletromechanical yule goat
Years and years ago now, in the comments to my Yuletide fanfic someone mentioned an electromechanical yule goat. So I drew one. And now finally I've done a bit of scripting and activated it so it shows the number of days until Christmas.

I d̶r̶e̶w̶scraped a thing
It's from a friend's photo of a fledgling pigeon, and I'm quite proud of it!
Scraperboard is quite fun!

I feel a bit guilty about this, but in my search for a wombat-related text as a gift, I may have excised a leaf from the University Library's manuscript of the 13th-century Arbroath Bestiary. The rest of the codex was not damaged, fear not.

I had to look quite hard to find such a page, since many such texts are unaccountably lacking in detail and illustration when it comes to marsupials.

Sketching a dogg with flippy-over ears.
Since
hatam_soferet has a very pretty dogg, I had a go at sketching her (from a video that
hatam_soferet put online) with my nice sepia-coloured ink and lovely drawing nib. Click to embiggen.

While I'm posting my artwork:

This was done in Dublin Zoo. It's one of my first stabs at life drawing as opposed to sketching from imagination.
